Course outline:

In this course you will go through 7 modules from understanding the NDIS to setting up your own business and even ways to find and onboard clients!

Module 1 is all about support work. You’ll learn the benefits that come along with running your own support work business, the required qualifications and skills and what makes a good support worker. 

In Module 2 you’ll learn about the NDIS along with how to navigate pricing structure and how to register your own business.

Module 3 is all about setting up your business, you can learn how to apply for an ABN, if you should register for GST, the type of insurance for you and even if you need a website.  

In modules 4 and 5 you learn about clients, how to find them, how to start the onboarding process, how to create your contracts and policies and how to create marketing materials that are right for you.

Module 6 is about health and safety management, this module takes you through work cover insurance, personal protective equipment, ow to assess a workplace, client health and safety, all things Covid-19 and more.

The last module takes you through recording keeping which includes timesheets.
